Investigation of the door proved fruitless; there were controls, but they were frozen with time and non-responsive. They seemed to be electronic, with no manual method of operating the door that stood out to his eye. He gave up after a short time, and the pair started off to examine the base of the colony ring. “This entrance is only large enough for small vehicles. They must have had larger ones, so there should be other entrances to try.”
